QA Configuration Manager Engineer

The Configuration Manager Engineer’s primary role is to provide configuration management for the code repositories, build and package code and deploy builds to test environments. This position is a member of the QA team and must know how to branch code base using subversion and build using Hudson. The successful candidate must also be able to troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues in a complex multi-tiered environment and will be called on to test as needed.

Required experience

  • 10 years CM/build engineer experience
  • Hudson code builds – must know how to set up run and maintain
  • SVN / Subversion (branching, tagging)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and deploy complex web applications
  • Unix/Linux administration
  • JBOSS, Tomcat, Apache administration
  • Shell Scripting
  • System configuration and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Java
  • PERL, Ruby, Groovy
  • Maven2
