Program Manager, Latin America
Job Description
Your job is to assist and mostly run card programs under the Rêv family of cards across Latin America.
You’ll work daily with internal departments to ensure the card program runs smoothly. Likewise, you’ll work in close partnership with third party companies and organizations that actually market the card. Balancing the needs of our clients and being their advocate while also understanding limits on internal resources is critical to your success as a program manager.
You must be highly organized and task oriented in order to balance the workload. You should be able to execute strategies to grow programs and ensure their long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Support the launch and operation of complex card programs in collaboration with our in-country teams, and strategic partners like banks and retail organizations.
- Create and execute work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Define requirements and plan product/project life cycles.
- Work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders to find win-win solutions and compromises.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects - resolving or escalating issues as required.
- Manage day-to-day client interactions - managing expectations, communicating relevant information, and resolving issues.
- Effectively apply and enforce company methodology and standards in addition to quality assurance.
- Undertake creating strategies for contingency planning, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Identify resources needed to complete assigned tasks and projects.
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors, team members, and internal/external partners.
- Safeguards company confidential information and understand what information can be shared.
Requirements
- B.A. in business or related field, MBA a plus.
- 5 years of experience in customer-oriented financial services and/or retail environments, and the management of complex programs in a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of retail organizations including store level, field, and corporate environments.
- Excellent communication skills required including the ability to make presentations, and organize and facilitate meetings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; graphic design and marketing capabilities a plus.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required, Portuguese a plus.
